The Haase Hotel Restaurant was a prominent hotel in the early 20th century. Built in the Neoclassical style, this beautiful building was used as a hotel before 1894 and was known as the "Hotel Universal," owned by Liborio Guerrero. Later, in 1914, it was acquired by Luis Haase. Since then, it has been known by its current name. Today, the building is considered an architectural monument and operates solely as a restaurant .

This wonderful restaurant is located in the town of Puerto Octay. Its specialty is spit-roasted meats (lamb, beef, pork, and chicken), which you can enjoy on their famous buffet platter and on select menu items. In addition to its Chilote-German cuisine , you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Osorno, Calbuco, and Puntiagudo volcanoes, as well as the beautiful Lake Llanquihue.
Within its gardens, you can meet some of its farm animals, such as wild boars , llamas, goats, steers, donkeys, etc.
